- Optical detection suppresses parasitic currents and electromagnetic interferences, thus increasing detection reliability of repeatability.
- The monolithic integration of all the optical components dramatically reduces the size and the transducer with all the associate manufacturing and packaging cost reductions.
- Arrays of bio-functionalized sensitive optocouplers allow for multianalyte determinations.
- Integrated meandering microchannels simplify packaging and maximize interaction of the sample and analytes with the immobilized probes.
- The same readout node for all optocouplers allows for simpler and lower noise readout electronics.
- The direct contacting scheme greatly facilitates packaging and eliminates the need for wire bonds.
Portable bioanalytical instrumentation.
